Hello from Idaho

After eight years with the best vehicle I have ever owned, I have moved on from my 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Ecodiesel. Took delivery on my 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4 Duramax. Frankly, I didn't expect the GMC to be as well put together as the Ram, but I am pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail (both engineering and style) with this AT4. Respects to the team at GM that put the AT4 concept together. So happy to not have a single sticker on my truck. I would have bought the AT4x if it came with a duramax. Sor far I put the Diamondback HD cover on the back. Weather Tech mud flaps went on really well.

The LT0 is really cool. Glad my model year '22 order was pushed into model year '23. Amazing how quick it warms up compared to the Ecodiesel. It definately runs hotter than the Ecodiesel.

So far my limited complaints are as follows:
- I think its a bit ridiculous that I paid for in excess of 20" of combined screen size, but I have to buy a 52mm Banks I-Dash to get the info I want from the truck
- It drives me crazy that the only way to get the front facing cameras up quickly on the screen is to jam it into reverse first
- The info center is really slow to jump around. The Ram Uconnect is much faster.

Looking forward to driving this vehicle more

For the front facing camera, you can drag the camera icon from the menu hub to one of your hot buttons on the left side, where the trailer icon, phone and music are. Makes it easier to pull up the camera without having to switch gears.

Awesome tip on moving the camera icon! That was one of my biggest frustrations too.

Thank you !!!

Great, tried it today and it works

The i-Dash is a cool little kit, but you don't need one to get most of the info you want. I use a well-placed phone mount, a cheap bluetooth OBD dongle, and the OBD Fusion app to get the info I need.

I'll reconsider the i-Dash system if/when Banks finally releases a decent tune for the 3.0 to go with it.
