Height of AT4

Hello! I ordered a new 2023 1500 AT4 that will be here in about a month. Which gives me time to rework my garage opening if I have to. Can someone help me out and tell me how tall these trucks are to the top of the shark fin? I bought one with the Duramax and 18” wheels (if that matters). Internet says 78.35” but I would like to make sure before I go tearing things apart. Thank you in advance.

I just went out and measured for you. Standing on a ladder and just looking at a tape measure and lining it up with my eye, looks to be every bit of 78 ½" I would go at least 80+ on garage door. Sometimes the door hangs down a little from opening.

Thank you for doing that. Dangit. I was hoping it was less than 78. I have an old house and once inside it will be fine but the opening will need to be torn apart and reworked.

Wifey won’t be happy if I tell her I now need a shop after dropping 70k on a truck lol. Although it might be worth it. This is my first at4 diesel. I had a 6.2 Denali that the motor failed twice so I’m trying something different. How do you like yours? Yours a diesel?

Love it. I had a 2005 duramax deleted and tuned. This truck doesn't feel as fast but it runs great lots of low end torque. Little week up top but I bet a banks pedal monster would take care of that

2 things I would get for sure. Curt tail gate protector and screen saver on Amazon comes with 2 screen protectors for all three screens

Can you tell me if you have the stock 20 or stock 18” wheels? I have read that the 18s tend to be a bit shorter in height.

Update: I stopped at a local dealership with a 2 foot level and a tape measure. It was a 2021 at4 on 18s. Top of shark fin was 77.25. Man this is gonna be close.

Just get it. I "accidentally" bought a standard bed when I was convinced I was shopping for a short bed. And now it's too long to fit in my garage. Oh well, no regerts. Now I get to stare at it through my front window any time I like.

I have a similar situation, mine hits the antenna but fits just fine. It's a shorter garage door also.

What size door are you working with and what does your truck measure out to? I have an older home that was not built with big trucks in mind.
