HD door badges....missing?

New forum member. Just moved from a Chevy to an AT4 HD (3500.) The truck is a 6.6 gasser. 2024 lightly used. I just noticed that the door badges say AT4 - not AT4 HD. All of the others I've seen have the HD badging.

The truck was involved in a "minor" prior collision. Did the repairing shop put the wrong badges on the doors? Anybody else have a 3500 without the HD badges on the doors?

Sounds like they used the LD badges.

Don't take this as positive info, but I believe the "AT4" for the HD's is bigger than the LD's "AT4", plus the additional "HD" letters.

I have a 2024 AT4X HD and it did come with HD on the doors. However the badging went half way across the doors and I took the HD off. They may have chose to leave them off during repair. Lots of aftermarket badges on Amazon if you want them. They just stick on with 3M body tape. Chrome before, black after.

Thanks for the replies. On closer inspection, I'm pretty sure gemarsh nailed it. The badge on the tailgate is black and red. The ones on the doors are chrome and red. Can't believe I didn't notice this when I looked at the truck. So now I just have to decide whether or not to let my mild case of OCD win or lose.

Just make them all black, then they will match.

PO probably took the "HD" off or a body shop but the wrong ones on during repair.
