Grill Peeling

Good Morning Everyone!
Just found this forum because I was looking for a solution for the grill pealing on my truck as well.
I have a 2022 Canyon AT4 with 15,000 miles and the front grill just started pealing.
I started looking on the internet to see if anyone else was having the same problem, Lo and Behold, it seems to be everywhere.
It doesn't appear that GMC is doing anything about it on a general level, but some people have had it covered under warranty.
I haven't called my local dealer yet, that is my next step to see what I can get accomplished.

Welcome.

Yes the grill peeling is becoming a common occurrence.

Welcome. Hate to think I should expect that in a couple of years.
Thomas's grill looks like gm sprayed something over shiny chrome! WTF, no scuffing and they expect something to stick?

I had a 93 obs that the chrome peeled off the plastic. Took a propane torch and heated the chrome tinfoil till it released and pulled it off with a needle nose pliers. Scuffed and shot it the same green color as truck, never had an issue after. We'll, until I hit a buck 10 years later. Bought a aftermarket and chrome is holding up still...

Pictures are about 5 years old.

Thomas is @thomasclark, who I replied to.

That is my 2nd son, Matthew. We call him Mo. Cause if'n we didn't have him, I could own mo guns. But wait, it gets better, my 3rd son is Morgan. His nickname is Gunner.

My daughter is named Mallory, from my drag racing days. Named after Mallory Ignition Systems. You can see my tastes went from vehicles to firearms.
