Hi,

super excited about the AT4. I unfortunately did not get all the options I wanted but want to see if others have done aftermarket mods for the following:
1. Couldn’t get side step In the build. Just ordered go rhino b20 side step
2. Really wanted the the package with all the camera angles and video rear view mirror. Anyone do any mods to add these aftermarket?

thanks in advance

Also added the Go Rhino RB20’s to my truck. My mod for rear camera is in the thread “Help: Recommendations and Advice needed”.

Can you post a photo from underneath the steps? Curious how far down they hang. Trying to decide between these and the go rhino Dominator D6. From the installation instructions, the D6 seems to be pretty flat across the bottom with the mounts bolting into the side of the step where as the RB20 have brackets that extend below the step. The RB20 method seems like it would be more secure (and uses 4 mounts instead of 3) but the D6 seems like a much more clean install with limited brackets sticking out below.

Don’t know if these help or not, if they don’t I’ll try to send more or a video if you need

This is perfect - especially the last couple photos. Just what I was looking for! How far would you estimate they hang below the steps?

For reference, based on the install instructions (link here) the D6 looks to be flush across the bottom and the clamp plate bolts in from the side. The RB20 certainly looks to be have support (using 4 mounts instead of 3 and having the bracket that extends below the step) -but the D6 have that nice rock slider look. My concern with the D6 is that the weight on the step is transmitted through a bending moment with a bolted joint to the clamping plate, where as the RB20 is transferring that weight through the bending moment in the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket of the RB20 seems much more secure and beefy a joint, but the D6 may be just fine.

Hopefully the folks at go rhino will get back to me on the rated weight on the D6. They got back to me on the RB20 and said it was 300 lbs...hoping they have some factor of safety in there. otherwise me and someone getting into the back seat wouldn't be able to use the board at the same time.

Thanks again for the assistance.

Follow up - heard from the folks at go rhino and they confirmed the D6 are also rated at 300lbs.. making my choice even harder. The rb20 are a bit wider than the D6.

Thanks again for the photos. Thread hijack complete. :)

Good deal! Let us know your decision!
Decided on the RB20. The DS6 look cool but the RB20 are a bit wider and have what appears to be a much more secure mounting bracket. The DS6 bolting through the side into a U channel didn't seem as strong.

Should hopefully be here next week? Ordered from off road warehouse. Never used them before so here's to hoping!
