Foggy Backup Camera

My backup camera is fogged up, most mornings. During the afternoon it starts to clear up, but here in the PNW it's rare to have a dry day.

Looks like the camera is a sealed unit, correct? The dealer is a couple hours away, and I'd hate to waste a day or two, just getting that looked at.

Yes, it should be sealed. Evidently yours identifies as not.

Maybe wait until you have a service done or other repairs?

It doesn't have to be a gmc dealer, even a caddy dealer can work on it, if'n you have another gm franchise dealer closer.

Part is under $100 but a fair bit of disassembly required, I’d make a dealer do it so any rattles aren’t in you.
