I am thinking about taking my fog light bezels off and painting them gloss black but since the trim around my fog lights is black also I think it might be to much black. I was thinking about painting the trim white to match my truck and the bezels gloss black to match my grill. Was wanting some feedback on what you all thought about that or if the trim has to be black. I am not sure. Thanks I’m advance

I took mine off and decided to try and rattle can them but got too picky and ended up stripping one. Then it got worse because the chrome had small wrinkles in it. Then tried removing all the chrome and pretty much destroyed one of them. I was looking at the black painted ones on eBay but not sure about that Chinese part and paint. BTW this chrome is nickel or something because the normal acid trick doesn't remove it.

Big Daddy, the fellow on youtube "Dons life" has a video of him removing them and doing a white wrap. It looks good with the white grill like yours. You can see how it looks.

There has to be a better way to get them off without the risk of breaking them. I am going underneath or through the fender tomorrow. I bought the ebay ones and wrapped them in carbon fiber. Mine have the flaking smoked chrome and need to go.

I bought the eBay ones and they look great. Taking these off are a PITA. I broke the tabs on the OE. be really careful like in the video to not scratch your bumper. You really need to twist and turn and pull and pry.
