FAVORITE MOTOR OIL AND FILTER

Ok I know this is touchy subject , but what is your go to oil and oil filter for your v8 gmc ? I come from ram world and I have used pennzoil for a long time with out any problems, let me see what the chevy crowd favorite oil is.

I have always preferred Amsoil products. I’ve ran them in my last 3 trucks and haven’t had a lick of issues with any of them. It’s not cheap but worth it in the long run imo.

I take to dealership. They have a record if anything goes wrong, using their oil and filter. Also, my local dealership uses full syn for change. Oil change, rotate tires, wash and vacuum- 90 bucks. While I drink their water/coffee and eat cookies and doughnuts. Yep, I am lazy bout nasty oil changes, do enough on equipment. LOL
