Factory Bose stereo

I just purchased a 2022 1500 at4, this is the first new vehicle I have ever owned and loving it so far… my question is on the factory Bose stereo…. I know very little when it comes to stuff like this but I seem to think my sub is not working….it says the sub is in the centre console but when listening to it turned up a bit I feel nothing except for the bass coming from the door speakers… is it possible my sub could not be working or am I wrong on the placement of it
And yes my build sheet says it has 7 speaker with woofer

Mine sounds the same way. On screen with music playing. Look at top right corner. Hit the sound button and then click you fade(don’t remember name). It lets you fade from front to back. Crank it up a little and start fading speakers to back and your sub will cut out. Haven’t found exact location, but it does sound like from under dash/ door area

Your sub is likely working fine. Problem is, it's not much of a subwoofer at all. It's a 5 1/4" speaker in a ported enclosure tuned to around 50-60 Hz. The doors speakers are a larger 6x9, and within ear shot. They will sound much more responsive and "present" over that factory "sub." In my build, I'm removing it all together because of it's uselessness.
