I've done this upgrade as well and it is a simple and valuable upgrade. Lights are very bright. This in conjunction with the boost auto bed light mod are a great combo!

@McChiveOn Sure, they have a few great mods, https://boostautoparts.com/pages/gm I used the reverse light mod that turns the reverse lights, bed light , tailgate light, step light and bed lights all on with unlock and reverse. Also the auto fog light where the fog lights come on with parking lights, so anytime the lights automatically come on the fogs do as well, no need to manually turn them on each time. Finally the all light mod when the high beams are on, all forward facing lights stay on (fogs and lows)

Yes. If you look above the controls and the usb port, there are rubber plugs that pop out and you insert the lights into the hole.

The light the OP showed won't work. You will need the oem sized version.

These are the generic oem version. You just unclip the light out of the big square mount...
