Good morning. I decided to join the forum due to the great content and recommendations. I drive a 2021 AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax. I perform all of my own maintenance and modifications. To date I have installed the Banks iDash, Pedal Monster, 2” Lift with new upper control arms, 34” wheel tire combo, Decked drawer system, Topper with rear view camera relocated to the back of topper, replacement resonator, and Road Active Suspension (RAS) for the rear.
I installed and removed after a two year test an oil bypass filter system. The system was okay, but it would not remove enough particulate to make a visual difference and did not extend oil life. It was also prone to leaking as the engine oil temperatures fluctuated in winter conditions.
I primarily use the truck for towing my fishing boat. I have zero complaints with the drive train. The truck gets great mileage and never struggles with torque. Looking forward to reading more on this Forum. Thanks and have a great day!
