Drop hitch 2500HD

What size drop hitch are being used on 2500AT4 so split tail gate doesn’t hit when lowered?

The multi pro hitch by b&w. I am lucky that on the 3rd hole down it does not hit mid gate.

Weigh safe is my choice for hitches but I think the inner tailgate will hit just about any of them not in the stowed position. I really dont like the look of a hitch so I really dont ever have one on when not towing a trailer.

I used to remove my hitch when I wasn't towing, but I have been rear ended 6 times over the years and after the 3rd time, I ALWAYS run my hitch!
I have the tow and stow from B&W but even in the stow position, if someone rearends me, that is going to provide a little more protection.
I had a normal hitch on my 2004.5 2500 HD and got rearended...did nothing to my truck but completely destroyed the car that hit me.
Hitch went right through the front bumper and into the radiator, and the hood folded up.
My hitch got scratched.
