Does anyone have a solution to the dim reverse lights on my 2025 2500HD AT4?

Easiest and cheap? Boost auto parts. Use the mirror lights in reverse mod.

Otherwise it will require adding lights. Few offerings out there. Pod lights for the step pockets. There is a set of lights that use the outside of the receiver. And as always just add light of your liking to the bumper.

Thank you

Thank you, Gemarsh. Would you happen to have a link to the receiver bracket?

Here is how i added the BMC lights linked

How big do you want to go? I did Podholes in my rear and side steps. A bit of work, but well worth it. View attachment 31041View attachment 31042
I like the ones in the bumper steps. Can these be wired to my reverse lights? It would be great if they could be wired to my reverse lights, but have an override switch to turn them on manually. Who makes them? I could probably do the mounting, but I would rather have someone else do the wiring so that it's for sure correct.

Just looked them up.

I just purchased the Pod Holes bumper step lights. They are just what I was looking for. Thank you, everyone, for all your help with this. Wish me luck installing them, hope it's not too bad a job.

The included harness makes the wiring easy. Just take your time with the removal of the steps so you don’t break any of the tabs. Not a difficult job at all.

You could wire the ones you got up to work in reverse and via switch. Really not hard. I did that with mine.

Easy to achieve this with a relay (I think one comes with your kit), and a 2 in 1 out diode.

Mount your new lights, and run a power wire from your battery to the new relay for the lights. Wire your lights + to the relay output, and ground your negatives from the lights and the relay negative. Relays use a signal wire to command the rely on sending the battery supplied power to the lights. You tap into your reverse light wire for the reverse commander signal. Run that to a 2 in 1 out diode. Mount a switch or switch panel for your manual light activation. Run the wire from that to the other leg of the 2 in 1 out diode. Then connect the output leg of the diode to the trigger wire of the relay.

The diode prevent back feed, so you can use reverse or the manual switch to send signal to the relay without flowing back through the other circuit. Either activation source triggers the relay, allowing the flow of battery power to the new lights.

I went with VLEDS LPR license plate LED bar and harness. Well made, dramatic difference and super easy to install. Worth a consideration if $116 (on sale now, $145 normal) is in your budget.

My son has my truck today but I can post some pic tonight if interested.

....provided the wrong link. Correct below.
