I get this notification pretty much every time I start truck. Very Annoying
Asks you to disable lockout for passenger I click the disable button
But it comes up again next time I start truck
???

Thinking its only when pass in other seat and it lets them acess screen when Im driving ? Is that right ?

I do not get this message. A suggestion. If you believe you are checking the correct box in the menu. Try resetting to factory. Try battery disconnect for an hour and resetting and last see if there is a software update. Ik it’s stupid but sometimes it will solve some issues.

I get the message too when I have a passenger. The message makes no sense. I’ve clicked disable and it comes right back.

Im not sure if this is exactly the same thing your getting.
I read this on the internet:

2019 Silverado how to disable automatic locks

“The only way to change those settings is with a professional GM enabled scanner. They are called comfort settings and can be changed. Most dealers will actually do it for free, and if you're still under warranty then they certainly will.”

This is from a service site. You may need to call a dealership and make an appointment? Its worth a try?
I don’t know.

There is some information on this site too. Unfortunately no answer.

Same on my 2025 canyon. I am at dealership as I write this and they say the have never seen it.

It comes back each drive cycle when you have a passenger. Lawyers and insurance want no wiggle room when someone crashes playing with the radio too much.
