Does anyone know the difference in the audio system between the AT4 and the AT4X?

I think it’s the amount of speakers and tweeters…not 100% sure. All I know is my 19 ram rebel had the alpine speaker system and it had more base and a lot louder then my sierra at4

I’m wondering if your could add the extra speakers/tweeters in an at4 from the at4x? Would obviously have to change out door panels and what not

It would be a lot of panels and the dash. I’m sure it uses a different amp as well.

Yeah for sure! I’m assuming it’s doable I’m not an audio guy so not sure how it all would work anyways.

Your better off replacing with a plug and play from CRUTCHFIELD. THE bose systems they use in these trucks suck compared to other vehicles. They are going for what they call concert sound or stage sound so your getting all the sound from front and rear sucks. Take your fader and put it all the way in the back you will notice how quiet it is. I did a complete replacement with JL audio components sounds so much better.

I entered 2024 2500 AT4, yes. Check with GMC parts to be sure.
