Difference in Aftermarket Exhausts

I've got a refreshed 6.2. I have limited experience with aftermarket parts.

Is there a reason there is such a delta in price for cat back exhaust systems? There doesn't seem to be that many parts to make that much of a difference. Is there a reason to go with Borla over a comparable Flowmaster system?

I don't mind paying for additional quality if it's there, and also will pay a premium if manufactured in the states.

Biggest difference is going to be stainless vs aluminized steel. Depending on where you live, in any northern climate, I’d go with stainless. Another difference might be clamp style (ubolt vs collar).
