Just wondering if y’all have the same observation that I do, I noticed my DEF consumption was pretty slow after I first bought my truck and I didn’t have to fill up def until somewhere after 5000 or 6000 miles. Mostly I was driving city highways to and from work no towing after I had to fill the death. The first time I noticed my DEF consumption is a little bit quicker now with the same type of driving. Is that normal?

Supposedly a full tank of def at an oil change should last until the next oil change. But ya, depends on the amount of towing.

Mine never lasts that long.

Thanks, I’m keeping track of everything(mpg and def usage) just for my own curiosity, once I have some miles under my belt I’ll share some data

I have just over 12000 miles and I've added 7.5 gallons of def since I bought my truck in June of 2024 and have not towed anything yet. My iDash says I'm at about 60% remaining now. 2.5 gallons should put it back to 100%.

At 11000 miles, only ever saw fill warning around 5000 miles, filled and since topped up twice even though it was far from empty. I never haul or tow anything.
