Cognito 3 inch level lift

Finally got my cognito 3 inch lift installed.

Ordered everything back in June and it was all delivered last week and put on today.

Mods:

Cognito 3 inch lift with one inch block in rear
Cognito upper control arms
Cognito front tie back kit
Cognito front finishing caps
Cognito pitman idler arms
KMC IMS black 18 inch wheels
Toyo Open Country RT Trail 37s

Going to later add the cognito front skid plate which replaces GMs crappy plastic skid plate.

In a month or so will have to take off the wheels and put my dedicated winters on.

Feels like up here in my area it’s going to come early this year. In the morning time is already cold and then warms up during the day!

Looks great man! Dang, and 37s! I have been on the fence for over a year on leveling kit and I finally just decided and ordered everything yesterday. Now I'm regretting not going 18s and 37/35s! I'm only doing 2" level and 2" blocks with 20s/35s. I tow/haul a lot, so considering that I should be OK, and hopefully satisfied. I got the same wheels, just different finish.

How wide of a tire did you go with? Any straight on shots? Want to confirm the stance.

You should be fine with a 2 inch level on 35s. Maybe a slight trim depending on how wide of a tire and backspace you have on your wheels.

I went with 37x12.5 and I’ll get some straight shots of my truck and post them on here when I get a chance. Also went with a +18 offset with a slight bit of poke maybe half inch to and inch. With the Toyo open country RT trail the lugs on the side of the tires makes it look a bit pushed out which I don’t mind.

Thanks man. That's reassuring! That's just the right amount and the look I was going for. The stock narrow 34" k03s don't look wide enough on these big ass trucks.

Personally I’ve seen the truck with 35s on them and in my personal opinion they still look a bit small but to each their own.

Yeah, I agree, but I really don't want to go over 2" total lift as these trucks are pretty tall stock. If it wasn't a work truck, I'd go 3-4" with 37s all day.

If I can get them to fit without rubbing, I may just sell the leveling kit. It's taken me almost 2 years to choose the parts I did. I'm sticking to it now haha.

Yeah it’s taken me 2 years as well for me to figure out what parts I want. Mine isn’t a work truck lol. It literally a people hauler and vacation hauler. I went with the 3 inch because I didn’t want to start cutting lots and I like the 3 inch over the 4 inch plus.

I am also installing 2" blocks/bags in the rear, so hoping that extra rear lift helps with fender clearances.

No worries dude!

Going to order the cognito fox steering stabilizer. Noticed when on the highway while driving straight steering wheel tends to shake a bit if the pavement is not super flat. It’s almost like death wobble. What I’ve seen on YouTube the steering stabilizer will help hopefully fix that.
