I noticed a small circled 2 at the bottom of the screen. It appears to be two error messages. One for SXM App & one for the SD card. I can clear the SD card, but it returns the next time I start the truck. The SXM does not appear to have any way to clear it. I don't have satellite radio service, nor do I want it. I found where I can delete apps, but that appears to be permanently installed.
Is there a way to clear/fix those?

The circled 2 is the amount of connections to the infotainment system.

If'n you disconnect your phone by Bluetooth, does the xsm app go away?

I've never seen that app listed on my 3 trucks and they had the 3 month trial of xm.

The sd card is always there unless you remove the card from the center console. But, you will lose navigation maps and speed display on the dic and hud.

I am not sure that is right. If I don't even have my phone with me it still shows 2. And, if I "Clear All" the SD card notification, the number on the home screen changes to a 1. But, the notification comes back the next time I start the truck.

I also get to the second screen (activities and notifications) by touching the circled 2.

I understand the SD card is the data for the nav system. I just don't know why it gives me that notification. I did go ahead and eject it and re-insert it. But, sure enough, the notification comes back on start up.

It gives you notification that something is connected to the infotainment system. If you eject the card with truck off and leave the card out and start your truck, I bet that notification is gone. Just make sure truck is off before re-inserting card. Have heard of failed cards removing/inserting while the truck is alive.

I was just grasping at straws when I asked what happened when you shut Bluetooth off on your phone. I haven't seen that xsm app and was wondering if it disappeared when the phone did.

I'll try that. Thanks.
