The dealer called informing me that OnStar had a low oil level on my truck. I checked the dipstick it was down about a quarter of the way on the hash marks, good oil pressure no other alarms. We did the 2nd oil change that was included with the vehicle and no leaks all is well. 15 min. later check engine light, called Onstar no help need a package, called the dealer and they said to drive it in.
Performed a scan and the scan showed several comm codes which had me worried. Took truck in this morning diagnosed as failed to communicate with the charge air coolant pump, Everything checked out except for the pump so they replaced the pump, from stock, topped up the coolant and I got the truck back 6 hrs. later.
I wanted to post this so that the viewers could see that the dealers do decent service work and it goes largely unreported. Good job.
