Catalytic Converter Protection?

Me too. I had three stolen off my Tundra (evidently it has 4) and the fuel lines were cut (4 month back order) and then the ECM went bad because of the air sensors shorting out in the the theft. $5000 damage and 4 months with no truck which is how I ended up here with my new AT4.

Now I need to sell the Tundra and I have two easily targeted PUs in my driveway. Catalytic Converter theft in AK is almost a pandemic. Thieves cut fences, barbed-wire, and razor-wire leaving businesses and residents defenseless (and of course no trooper follow-up after report has been filed). Some businesses have lost their whole fleets in one night (U-Haul, etc.). I work for a government agency and we share a building with the state police which has not deterred theft of cc's from state vehicles.

@BigLaker - That's just asinine the amount of theft you have up there! Unfortunately, parking in the garage isn't in the cards for me. I previously had a Jeep Wrangler w/ armor (skid plates) so catalytic theft was a non-issue. Nothing is invincible, but having a plate or something would be a big enough deterrent in most circumstances. I will use my friend Google to see if there's some good plates to install. Was hoping someone had some real-world experience with any antitheft products for GMC/Chevy.
