Carbon Pro

Hello,
I bought a used 2021 at4 1500 carbon pro. I thought that the carbon pro package came with the kicker in the multi tailgate.
Would someone please school me on this.

I was thinking the same. It is on the Denali.

Are you sure it's the carbon pro edition or just optioned with the carbon pro bed. Not every composition bed is a carbon pro edition.

The car fax says carbon pro edition and has the blacked out trim with carbon pro on the 6.2 fender badge it seems to have about all the other packages. Probably wouldn't use it much anyway. Thanks

Another question. I want to put a swing out bedside toolbox but don't know about mounting it to the carbon pro bed. Have you got anything like that for yours?

The tailgate kicker speakers are definitely a dealer installed item. The dealership should have installed them. I’d call them and ask about it, especially if they are listed on your window sticker.

The kicker system was another option, not something that is added by default with the carbon bed. If you do a lot of tailgating or generally hang out around the back of your truck, it's nice to have. For others like me, it's useful about once a year and more annoying than useful another 1-2 times per year. After your phone is paired, every time you flip that step open it will turn on, connect, and hijack any audio currently playing. If you are enjoying some tunes or an audiobook through your ear buds, it doesn't care, and you'll have to stop what you are doing and take back control of your devices.

JFI... you can long press on the power button and it will stay powered down until you power it back on once a year.

I ordered my 2021 Carbon Pro AT4, and the kicker was included. It is shipped to the dealer separately for installation before delivery. If you know who the original dealer was, you can reach out to them or contact GM directly. The prior owner may have moved it to another vehicle if they purchased another GM.
