Can't turn my headlights off while truck is not in park (Canada) thing??

I bought my 2021 AT4 in east TN . Looked in my owners manual about the headlights staying on ,come to find out because it was sold new in Canada. Does anyone have a remedy for this issue? I thought I could just replace the headlight switch but not sure if that will work . Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.
