We've had our 2024 Canyon AT4 for 4 months now and really like the truck. My wife has an obsession with windshield cleanliness. About a week ago she tells me her windshield washer quite working. I can hear the washer pump working when the button is pressed and washer fluid drips under the truck from the firewall area. I can see the hose hanging out underneath the plastic cowling covering the wiper motor. I've already taken the wipers off and removed the cowling to make sure there wasn't something disconnected under it. The hose coupler came apart where the hose from the reservoir meets the hose going to the spray jet. The space between the reservoir and the fender is too small to get a hand/arm in there and I tried using a cut wire coat hanger with a hook to try and see if I could fish the hose from the reservoir out but no luck. Any suggestions on how to retrieve the hose section that is attached to the washer reservoir? Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you out of bumper to bumper mileage warranty?

I know on the 1500-3500 you can gain access by removing the fender liner. Haven't seen under the hood of a mid-size, yet.

We got the truck used so I would have to check what warranty covers what. I believe there was some remaining factory warranty and we bought extended warranty as well. I started removing the wheel well liner but gave up as it started raining. That didn't feel promising though as it felt like there was a good amount of sheet metal behind the liner. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I'll keep watching the post and continue removing the liner tomorrow before the play-off games start.

I have a 22 1500 and a couple months ago I had to replace my washer pump. The spray hose is connected to the pump. Everything is very easy to get at once the wheel and the fender liner is removed.

I didn’t remove the wheel, just had to turn the steering wheel a couple of times to get all the torx screws out. Got the wheel well liner down enough to get a hand in there. Couldn’t tell how the hose was originally routed but was able to pull it back then fished it up beside the reservoir. Secured it with a snug zip tie and put everything back together. Working like new. Thanks to everyone that posted!
