Lets see your camper shells. Please post some pictures of them! If anyone here has one that is...

And I guess those half ton guys can post theirs also...

Last thing, check this out:

Looks weird at first, but also kind of cool. It does seem like a good idea though, because you have access to everything easily (Although some might need a step of some sort to reach it. Heck some people might even need a ladder 😂). What does everyone here think of it?

That seems really convenient- great idea!

Nice!! I bought the AT4 mainly for road trips/overlanding and Im still contemplating whether I should fit a camper or a simple rack with a rooftop tent. Ikamper is looking pretty sexy but at 4K for a freakin tent, I have some thinking to do lol.

Ideas would be appreciated..

As much as I love RTTs, I think a camper shell is the one for you.

Benefits of a camper shell:
  • More/better insulation
  • More space inside (certain cases)
  • Can always use it for storage
  • It is always protected from the elements
  • Little to no setup
  • I will probably cost the same/less than the iKamper + bed rack
Just a few, I can list more if you would like.

2020 GMC At4 2500. Camper top is line x truck gear(FYI these are made by Century). Roof rack is Thule cross bars, Rhino Rack basket, and Yakima kayak holders. Fit and finish of this shell is really great. Came with a lot of options such as sliding cab window, pop out side windows, roof liner, and keyless entry. Not cheap but I like it. I had an ATC on my raptor which was ok but this one is better quality. Currently 7 week waiting period to get one.

That’s one of the best looking set ups that I’ve seen! Great job!
