Buying Used - What to look for?

Get the VIN# and go to a dealer they should be able to check if the parts have been installed if not they should be able to order the parts and install them but be sure to ask if it is a GM retrofit cost first before they hit you with a big invoice?:)

I’m in same boat! I just bought a 2022.5 w/ 7,700 miles. I pick up on Monday.

What comes with new ones that I need to make sure is there? Manual, hitch, spare keys, etc

Check the window sticker and look for any items that need retrofit. Mine still needs heated steering wheel and parking sensors.

Here’s my sticker. Any idea if the 3 years of OnStar & Connected Services would transfer with owners? I’m definitely gonna check on it. It seems to be a well optioned truck.

I just talked to Onstar when I picked mine up Friday. They were not going to allow it to transfer but I pressed them pretty hard and they ended up giving me two years.

I had no issues. When I talked to them they said I had what was left of the 3 years remaining.

I found a original purchased in Canada 2019 AT4 crew cab 4x4 short bed 6.2 factory CAI with 5k miles for $55K US. It has everything on it. I cant find anything it doesn't have. It looks like a good deal. anything I should be aware of on these first gen trucks.
Thanks

DO NOT BUY CANADIAN. You'll never get 80% of trade in if you trade in, trust me.... I almost made that mistake. I found a lease trade in Americans LOADED 21 with everything in phenomenal shape, 30K miles, etc for $51K. Canadian trucks at the wholesale auctions and retail trade in level are worth 20% less.. now, dealers will always try to resell them at equal to US trucks, every time... And they find buyers to buy them at normal prices. But, at the wholesale level, etc, Canadian VINs are cancer.

Any reason why?

They sell tons of Canadian trucks in Montana. I bet 1/2 of the used truck market is Canadian purchases. I have never lots money selling a Canadian vehicle later for trade. That said every state is different. Branded titles were always an absolute NO here. After the shortage these last few years you can buy them everywhere. so things change. I guess Im wondering if there is anything negative about first edition 2019s. Thanks.
