Bugs and Tar

What do y’all use to remove bugs and/or tar from front burner and side mirrors? These West Texas bug guts are immune to soap and water!

try sitting a paper towel soaked in soapy water on for 10 minutes or so, the paper towel will keep it wet and allow it to soak through. Won't help with the tar, but should with the bug guts.

Last time I was in Texas I drove through a swarm ( correct term?) of butterflies....I'd never seen anything like it. Worse than love bugs in Florida. They were all over the windshield. I've used goo gone before but I may try that turtle wax now.

As a previous poster said, bug and tar remover works wonders. I spray it on and let it soak for a while but don't let it dry... keep it misted. Then wash that area with a different mitt. I find the bug and tar remover kills suds and stays in the mitt for a while. Then I wash the whole vehicle with my normal mitt and spray polish and dry.
