Borla ATAK Crate Muffler on '23 AT4X

Figured I'd share these for anybody considering it. Inspired by CC1999 in here who had installed a Corsa on his and shared video of a ZR2 with this ATAK, but I hadn't seen it on AT4X so hope this helps someone else decide. Video doesn't really do it justice, thing sounds great in person. I had '22 Limited AT4 and I definitely feel like that muffler wasn't as stifling as the new ones on these AT4X. This is the perfect rumble both on start and while driving and nothing obnoxious, cold start is extra loud. Install took less than 30 minutes with flapper valve delete at local muffler shop.

Very nice. For some reason your cold start doesn't seem as loud as my cat back s-type I had installed.

I wouldn't be surprised if your system is louder, this was only a muffler swap everything else is still stock. I swear the video sucks though and now I'm questioning if I uploaded the right one or just a start lol. I'll try to get a better one tomorrow morning

Sounds just like my Borla cat back Touring system. At times I wish I had bought the S-type system until a cold start. Then I am happy it is the Touring system.

I am happy with the driving sound of my S-Type then the cold start and waking up my kids and then wish I got the touring lol

Touring system could use a little more driving sound at regular speeds. But when you mash on it the sound does get up there. I contacted Borla by email and inquired about upgrading my Touring system to the S-type and they wanted $828 for that and I said no way, lol
