IMO, stock wheels and tires, just don't look right on these trucks to my eye. I actually liked the stock AT4X wheel, should have just gotten 1.5" wheel spacers and a bit bigger Nitto RG's and left it. But I didn't.
I have recently switched from my 18x9 -13 offset Fuel contra wheels on 34x11.5 R18 nitto RG's, to a 20x10 - 12 WORX wheel with Nitto RG 295/60 R20 tires. Much prefer the look and feel of the new tires/wheels over the 18x9 setup I went with. Yes, I had to do quite a bit of trimming, but it was worth it to me. The trucks stance and look is much better IMO. It also rides better overall, IMO. It cost me $1000 to do this swap, considering I had 8K miles on the fuel contras and nitto RG's I traded in, I think that is a more than fair deal for brand new wheels and tires that I like much better. Wish I had done that in the first place. Since each tire/wheel is 15 lbs heavier than what I had on before, I expected worse fuel MPG, but I am actually getting better MPG. The tires are also supposed to be the same height as my 34x11.5x18 nittos I traded in, but they are a tad taller and also wider. Not too tall or wide, just right. The extra 15 lbs per wheel isn't noticeable, and for whatever reason my fuel mileage is better, which is a nice perk.
Each to their own, though. I also installed Airlift 5000 airbags along with the wireless onboard Airlift compressor for the airbags. I can adjust my airbags from no air up to 100 psi. I leave it at 6 or 7 psi for regular driving, set it to 12 psi when I pull my job trailer, which is often. Yes, the ride in the rear is a bit more stiff with the airbags, but not terrible. I had the same Airlift airbags installed on my 2020 AT4 and liked how much they improved trailer pulling, plus they do give a bit of a rear end lift, which I like a little rake also.
