Biggest tires on stock wheels

I never had any rub before but just in case anyone would ever wonder this, I tried to put 1.5” spacer on like on the donslife YouTube channel thinking they would work. And they rub with my tires on stock rims. I’m trying 1.25” next week.

So these worked stock, without rubbing? And then with spacer you started to rub?

Correct. No rubbing when it was just those tires on stock rims.

I know this is for a 2021- but this is my research. You might check 4wheeldriveguide.com for more answers. I plan on going to Discount Tire and trying different sizes when I purchase View attachment 1419View attachment 1420

Thank you for posting this. I had my local Discount Tire order 285/65/20s, 275/65/20s, etc for trial. I have a Yukon AT4 XL without air suspension and my wife wants the tallest (not widest-think tall and skinny) tire on 20" stock rims that will fit and I swore the 285/65s would fit, even 275/65s at worst and Discount Tire was adamant none would fit and that I must go back with stock tire size and I didn't agree with them and walked out. Trying to figure out if a 285/65 or 275/65 will fit. The one nugget I did find out there was that when trying out tire sizes for rubbing purposes if it will fit on the left front tire it will fit on all the other 3 corners FYI.

They still rub at full lock sometimes. More often when in reverse.
