Looking for some feedback on a clunk and or loud pop coming from the front end. I can feel the vibration through the steering wheel when it happens.
It is not constant but I’m asking if anyone is having the same experience.
It happens upon occasion but it is concerning.
I am pulling a 38 foot fifth wheel and am within my GVWR. This happens when on a small incline and /or from a stop. The weather has been between 35/50 degrees so taking that into consideration.
I’ve have a fuel filter exchange coming up so will ask the dealer about this when I bring it in.
I’m reading other posts but not too many with the same set up set up I have.
So many posts with ā€œthe dealer can’t find anything wrongā€ 😣
Any responses would be appreciated.
Thank You !

I had a clunk while turning slowly, on my 2500HD which they eventually nailed it down to rear spring packs; was perfect after they replaced them.

Get under your truck and start looking for anything out of the ordinary. Check your steering components. Particularly your pitman arm. They are notorious for going out.

If memory serves me right, the 22 or so models had a bulletin out for the intermediate steering shaft.

If you're under warranty just take it in and let the dealer figure it out.

Thank You ! I can use all the suggestions I can get. I will do a visual check in the morning.
