Just installed the iDash this morning, pretty easy as long as you watch the Banks video on how to do it. Powered the unit up and that is where the headache started. I watched every YT video I could to see what I was doing wrong and none of the settings were coming up.

To make a long story short I had to wait for Banks to open and put in a call. Come to find out that they do not have the update done yet for the LZ0 motors and I had to select the previous engine (LM2) as I was told and I quote from Banks "We have found that this has worked for most things that people monitor". The LZ0 version will not be due for a couple more months.

After getting things to work I set up a page to watch the regen process and def fluid levels as that is all I care about for the interim.

I got one as well for my 2023. Didn’t have any issues with what I wanted to monitor…. Just selected the lower LM2 option on that page.

Watch Demonworks setup video on YouTube.

Using the LM2 option as well on my 24 AT4 LZO. My only disappointment so far is no way that I can see to read oil pressure. Oil temp is there but no oil pressure. Hopefully this is going to be added when they release the LZO update.

I'm waiting on them to iron out the kinks before ordering.
I still find it useful for seeing when I'm going to go into regen and what my temps are. The missing data like oil pressure is more of an annoyance than a deal breaker for me.

Since this a chat started about Banks iDash and the LZ0 motor I will describe what has been going on with mine and what I have learned from other group members and the Banks Tech support.
- I have installed the latest firmware, 124.7, which you have to get by email as the website only had version 124.
- There are two vehicle selections for the LM2, one says LM2 20-21 and one just says LM2.
- My current setup I got from @chaseydog and it is the 7 gauge set-up displaying:
REGEN
DPF RG% DPF SL%
DPFDIS DPFTIM MIN
DEFVL% DEFCMD
- When I run the LM2 vehicle selection all the gauges display at start-up but after about 30sec-1min the DPFDIS and DPFTIM MIN both go to dash lines
- When I run the 20-21 LM2 vehicle selection only the DPF SL% shows dash lines.

Tech support recommended I switch between the two and see what changes and stated that 20-21 might not have all the features. He said to continue to wait for firmware updates.

I recently had a NOx sensor go bad and that go replaced today and I have tried to switch between the regular 124 and 124.7 firmware updates and this is what I have come to find. I am curious about others and if they have experienced these kind of issues. I have unplugged an reseated both ends of the cable between the iDash and the OBD port.

A week or so ago I sent some questions to Banks regarding monitoring EGT, whether or not oil pressure would be added as something we can monitor, and to clarify if LM2 or 20-21 LM2 was the configuration I should be running on the LZO.

The only question that was answered was the last one. I was told to run the LM2 and not the 20-21 LM2 and that the LM2 should be on the list but if it’s not it will be in the next firmware, which I assume is the current beta that I’m running.

To be honest I’m kind of getting the impression that LM2/LZO isn’t really a priority for Banks, and that they are focusing on the big max. I’m still happy with the iDash but most of the answers that I’ve found on how to use it have come from outside Banks.

What version of firmware are you running?

Has anyone else experienced the iDash not booting up after a remote start? Got mine in Jan 24 and most times i remote start and then power on while it’s running via remote start it wont cycle on. It has power since the gauge backlight partially comes on but the gauge display is black. Banks tech line recommended adjusting the sensitivity (assuming can bus sensitivity) which didn’t help. All i need to do is press the down arrow and the gauge finishes booting up. Not a major complaint, just a bummer it gets confused on what’s happening.

Love the form, fit, and finish of it and the custom pod, only wish I’d have bought two right away.

I have seen the issue you are having reported on the Duramax forum. Installed 124.7 on my 23 and the displays you referenced are working properly selecting the LM2 vehicle option.

Mine does not boot up either when I remote start, but when I get in and push the start button the iDash fires up. I'm running the 124.0 version in the LM2 setting.
