BANKS filter back exhaust

Alrighty, it's been a week and time to get to work. Bed cover and tint is getting done Monday. All black emblems on order. Couldn't find matte black other than overlays and wasn't sure how they would last so I got gloss black AT4HD and Sierra. Leaving the red GMC for now cause I do like the red tow hooks.
Now to the exhaust. Always hated the bazooka hanging out the back. Not interested in hurting warranty yet so I found a Banks Monster 5" filter back exhaust with a black tip that looks pretty good.

Anyone using it yet? Really worth the $650. just to get the look?

Anyone have any experience with the Banks filter-back? Just wondering if it changes the sound at all?

From what everyone is saying the sound doesn't change at all. Just moves the heat away from the front of the trailer. That is why I went with a 140. MBRP black tip. Atleast until I'm out-of warranty!

@BJMCFW...I watched a YouTube video where a guy installed one on his GMC. I like the fact that it does shift the output of the exhaust to the side. My truck is Summit White and I can only imagine what the underside of the rear bumper is going to look like...

Edit - Here's the video. Keep in mind that this is on a 2020 Duramax, but I don't think there is much difference underneath with the exhaust system.

Sorry to hijack your thread but where did you find the black emblems? I can only find overlays or GMC logo only. I'd like to black them all out. Thanks

Thanks, since the only real gain is moving the tip to the side, I ended up saving just over $500. and bought a MBRP black curved tip that looks great and does the same job! Will put the money a saved in a sock until the truck is out of warranty!
