Well I know this is a topic that has already been beaten to death…so here goes again….2024 AT4 2500…have installed Banks cold and hot side boost tubes…turbo intake and MAP spacers…realizing the stock air box is essentially a CAI but restrictive. I am contemplating making the purchase for the Banks CAI, but want to hear from those that actually have one and installed, whether or not this is a good mod….pull a 37’ Montana high country just looking for that extra bit of oomph from the truck. I know a lot of people have their opinions and I respect that, but again looking for those that have made the purchase and installed.

I ordered one today with the dry filter option since I’m in dusty conditions frequently. Is there an advantage to getting oiled vs dry?

From what I understand (I researched it) an oiled filter provides better airflow and filtration with the ability to reuse the filter..when I pull the trigger on this upgrade I will get the oiled one…a little more preventative maintenance, but it will allow me to reuse the filter without having to buy a new one
