Baja Designs Squadron Sport for Reverse : AEV Rear Bumper : Wiring Question

Looking for some wiring expert advice. I've installed cube lights in the cutout locations using AEV's brackets that were recently released on their site. The harness that came with the Baja lights is setup to be switch activated. I'm going to remove the switch and trigger the lights with the reverse wiring off one of the tail lamps. Does anyone know if I can get 12v power somewhere in the rear of the truck or do I need to extend the harness and run the length of the frame rail to the battery? I really want to make sure this is done properly and that I won't have issues the first time I hook up a trailer or something along those lines. Baja is really slow to respond to emails. Anyone wire aux lighting for added reverse lights?

I ended up running all the way to the battery along the main harness on the passenger frame rail. The small lift was helpful for moving around under the truck. It wasn't too bad. I mounted the relay behind the tail light, cut the switch off the harness and tapped into the reverse light to trigger. Power from the battery, ground from the bumper. They work perfectly and make visibility perfect in both the mirrors and backup camera. Both were really dark before, especially with 15% tint all around.
