Just curious what everyone is averaging in GPM. I own a 2024 AT4 HD 2500 with 295 tires. Averaging 10 mpg in town and 15 mpg freeway. Pretty sad in my opinion but I’m assuming it’s due to the larger tire size.
Any suggestions on how to improve the GPM other than getting smaller tires? 🤪

Gas or diesel?

All these comments make me miss my 16 LML.

Explain to me how we are improving? When the LML had better mpg, a 6 speed transmission, towed like a beast, and no transmission issues.

We aren't in that realm. But we have washer squirters for the front camera. 💩

Well, blame the HP and TQ wars between the big 3 for the drop in fuel milage.
Might as well throw in the EPA mandated stuff and the current fuel under the bus as well.
Around town I am about 10ish and on the Highway 14 for the L8T.
I do get better fuel mileage in the east due to lower speed limits.

Hahaha I just blew my kids mind with that today! I also have a 2015 Sierra with 305k, old dirtbikes that just start forever, farm equipment that is older than everything in my life. It's maintenence. I beat the piss out of everything I own, but in a useful way... Hard to explain. I'm using things hard, but maintaining them. I truly believe in "ride/drive it like you stole it.

2023 3500 HD AT4 Duramax 16-18 City and 19-21 highway up to 70 mph. Drops to 10-11 towing my 30 ft. toyhauler. Stock tires and I am very happy with my mileage. The emissions issues I fought for over five months, not so much!

I'm getting 12-13 in town, and have shown 24.1 out on the open road (cruise set at 53 on the Natchez Trace Parkway). 2024 2500 HD AT4X Duramax.

If I drive like an old lady I can squeeze 11-12 in town (without any large hills), and 18-19 hwy. If I drive faster, or up hill it drops to around 10/ 15. If I tow it's around 8mpg. Im surprised your diesels aren't getting better mileage. Do you have a lead foot?
