I have owned my new GMC Sierra AT4x for 2 months now and here is my take on what I like about the truck so far:
  1. Exterior:
    1. Front Grille/Head lights/Switchback turn signals
    2. The overall lines of the truck
    3. The color (haven't seen another GMC this color since I've owned it :))
  2. Interior
    1. Center Digital Cluster easy to navigate and customize
    2. Infotainment Display
    3. Large 15” HUD is a must have
    4. Rearview Camera
    5. Massaging seats
    6. Seat Piping
    7. Dual purpose floor mats are great
    8. Overall Ergonomics are pretty good
    9. Climate Control is very good
  3. Ride quality is pretty good but can be a little bouncy but much improved with upgraded wheels & tires
  4. Multi-purpose tailgate is great
  5. Drivetrain; Transmission is smooth
  6. The coated/stamped bed liner
  7. Sound system is solid
  8. How easy it is to do basic modifications
  9. GMC App is pretty good
  10. Exterior 360 cameras
Things I do not like:
  1. Undersized Rearview mirror (does take some getting use to)
  2. Steering feels a little disconnected (Improved with Wheels/Tires upgrade)
  3. Center console is a bit plain and plastic looking for a 75K-90K truck
  4. Lack of engine noise (Perfect with the upgraded Borla Exhaust)
  5. Wheels and tires are too small for the truck (Again improved
  6. No Panoramic Sunroof
  7. Radio Antenna (Replaced)
  8. Goodyear wranglers (Replaced)
  9. GM 1K mile won’t make any changes policy (awful)
  10. Keyless entry should not be buttons on handles but touch activated and should be on all 4 doors
  11. Halogen lights for the tags (replaced w/led’s)
  12. Limited interior color options
  13. Did I mention the lack of panoramic sunroof
  14. Non body colored fender flares (painted)
  15. The OTA updates and the fact that most GM techs need more training

Let me know your thoughts, do you agree or disagree and did I miss anything?

Building an offroard truck with restricted wheel well size and front bumper clearance.....

The annoying clicker sound

On the dont like list #9, GM 1K mile won’t make any changes policy (awful)

What is that?

So GM has a policy that they won't approve any minor repairs in the first 1k miles of owning the truck. For example my alignment was out and my tires were flat spotted (damaged) but the dealer had to wait until I got the truck to 1K miles before they could file the claim which is silly because they already confirmed that additional driving wasn't going to fix the problem. o_O

Agree with most of what you have here. However, I think the buttons in the handle are nice since I have gloves on from time to time. Should be on all four doors though.

The wheel well sides are great IF you do a little off road. Saves the paint chip hassle.

Needs a front lift and lack of the small mud flaps right away to fit proper 35".

YES, give us a pano roof!!!

And this is why it's important to get other perspectives as I didn't think about wearing gloves or the fender flares chipping from rocks if you are off roading a lot. Thanks for the input! Sometimes I/we forget we are not the only owner a manufacturer is targeting, good stuff ;)!

I’m driving a ram 1500 rebel pretty much full loaded and compared both pros and cons between my truck right now and the at4x. I have a pano roof on my rebel and rarely ever use it. I have noticed in the summer it is just a heat magnet and have to crank up the AC full blast and takes forever to get “cold”. It doesn’t really get get because the pano roof glass just hold the heat inside the cab. In the beginning thought it was weird for a brand new truck especially in 2023 that having no pano roof was a deal breaker. After having it it’s not an end all be all lol. Also waiting for when the 24’ model year gets the diesel. Gas prices in my area are getting ridiculously high. It will be hitting 2-3 dollars a litre for regular not sure what it is in gallons. Obviously for 91-93 octane it will be a lot higher. Diesel in my area is around 1.57 a litre.

Come live in Central Oregon where six months of the year it is dust, dirt, wind, weeds, and heat. Then the other six months of the year it is dust, dirt, wind, and cold. I will barely use my sunroof 🤪
Good point!
