For months I've been looking at online inventory within 250 miles of San Diego and all the dealers want at least $3,000 over sticker. Some want $5,000 and a few want $10,000. What kind of idiot pays that? I expanded my search criteria and stumbled across King Buick GMC in Loveland, CO. Not only did they have no qualms about selling it for sticker, they actually had multiple Sterling Silver units on the lot with 2 more coming in March. Exactly what I wanted so I put down $3,000 and will go get it in 2 weeks when I'm in CO for a ski trip. Then just drive home after vacation. They did charge $1,200 for a "required" insurance program that covers door dings, seat damage, and key FOB replacement nationwide...but...there were no dealer documentation fees and all the other $300-$400 BS fees dealers like to slide in to boost their margin. So the net cost to me on the repair/replacement program was probably $600, which is 1 key FOB or door ding repair. I'll probably get some use out of it and break even on that extra cost. Almost forgot, there is a 4Wheel Parts 1 mile away and they have a sale this weekend so I bought the tonneau cover and rub mat I want, and the dealer will drive it over there for installation and have it all ready to go when I show up. With how easy this was, I suggest anyone looking to avoid the stupid "market adjustment" give them a call.

The new prices are stupid and I agree 100%. I am in MS and I bought a 2023 Summit White AT4X with AEV bumper back on Jan. 23rd in stock on the lot for $1000 off the crazy MSRP of $84985 with the only fee being a $330 doc fee. They did give me full clean trade in on a 2016 GMC Denali HD duramax with only 85k on the clock which was $45k. It was worth much more but I could not get that locally from individual buyers who were trying to finance the whole thing.

I went to King Buick in Loveland to pick up my 2022 AT4X about 3 weeks ago!
I couldn’t find the truck I wanted anywhere.
Actually ordered 2023 1500 at4 black but couldn’t find one anywhere. Found King Buick in Loveland and he said he had a 2022 AT4X for about the same price as the 2023 AT4….. so yeah! That got my attention. I have always loved the AT4X but couldn’t justify the high price. But when they offered it for the same as what I was already going to give for the 2023 AT4, I jumped on it!
I’m obsessed with the all black interior in the AT4X.
Made the trip from ABQ. Worth it. I love my truck. They didn’t do any markup. Honestly, it was a great experience.

So far I have added:
- black GMC emblems
- 15% tints on front 2 windows. 5% on back windows. 0 % on back bed windows.
- 2 inch spacers

I want to still add a level kit. Then I believe I will be done with my mods.

All of the dealers around Dallas/Ft Worth where wanting $10K over MSRP. I found a AT4X in NW Arkansas at a small dealership, Lambert Motors, for $1000 under MSRP, NO ADD ONS, plus they gave me a fair trade in on my 2015 Denali. It does pay to shop around.

Looks awesome! I just picked up a 23 X with the AEV front bumper. What brand spacers did you go with? I was between the 1.5” and 2”… also hoping the factory wheels have pockets in the event the studs stick out past the spacer face.

wow! The 23 is so clean! Congrats! What color?
I had the same debate but I’m glad I did the 2inch. Sits nice.
I splurged a little. Didn’t want to go cheap on this new truck.

Got them from American Trucks.
Mammoth 2 inch spacers. I can attach picture.

Thanks! Titanium Rush. Coming from a black 2020 AT4 2500 diesel (pictured together). I do miss the torque of the diesel but the style and finishes are huge upgrades in my opinion. So far, I’ve added the black emblems, GM folding hard bed cover and factory borla exhaust. Tint, wheels spacers and step bars are next.

It looks clean!!!

Can you tell me more about your bed cover and exhaust? I’m really curious to do them on mine.

What’s the difference between the Cat Back and Borla? The same?

Can you maybe put up some photos of the bed cover?

Steele GMC in Round Rock, TX (just North of Austin) sells their AT4X’s at MRSP and is really an amazing dealership. I have purchased several trucks from Toby Turner there, as he is honestly the best sales person I have ever worked with. Here is his number if anyone is looking for a good deal and wants to be treated right.

Toby: (512) 626-8702

Thanks and good luck!

Tonneau, racks, tint done. I personally dont think the rake is bad, at least not bad enough to fukup the factory ride with aftermarket spacers. King GMC in Loveland saved me $5k over the dumba$$ dealers in CA.

Looks like I had my phone set on "food!" Oops! Sorry about the blurr!

I did not like rake either, and wanted to keep the ride. I “flipped” rear block to top of axle- makes for a level truck. Just a FYI
Interesting. That may help with my constant anxiety about banging into commercial garage ceilings with the back rack. I'm not a mechanic so if I told one to "flip" the blocks, will they know what I'm talking about?

Pretty simple- tell them to take entire bracket and block on rear axle and flip over. The block moves from “lifting” rear axle to resting on top of rear axle- you need to leave it in there to take up space and then can use factory u-bolts. Any questions- hit me up, happy to help!
