Hello,
I think I have an interesting introduction story for my AT4.
Dec 11, 2021 I ordered a 2022 AT4 Carbon Pro 3.0l, optioned out, except no sunroof.
The truck arrived... ready... April 21, 2023!
After we were done signing away $72,000+ my salesman started stammering and told me that We
can't take the truck home today because there was a recall item that had to be done
before the truck could be released. We, my woman and I, said ok fair enough.
A few days goes by they call us to pick it up.
My salesman was showing me all of the cool things about the infotainment system
when I noticed the A/C system starting to blow warm air. Then a clunk sound and the slight smell of something
burning. The salesman said that smell was just the new engine smell
.
So, they had to replace the A/C pump twice, first replacement burned up immediately.
Picked up the truck 11 days later all was well...
two weeks later the A/C failed again. Several days later, fixed again.
Two and a half months later the A/C failed again.
This time the shop figures out that the entire A/C system needs to be replaced
That was the first week of Aug. estimated... possible... maybe repair date. End of Sept.
On the positive side we love the truck, avg 23.7 MPG commuting 60 miles to work
looking forward to someday getting to drive it again.
