Can anyone post a couple of pics of wireless Apple Car Play in action in your refreshed 22 sierra? Maybe a pic of using it with apple maps navigation and music at the same time? I watched a youtube video last night of the guy demoing the system and he complained that apple car play only took up 1/2 of the screen with the other half being used up with a GM default app. Can anyone confirm?

Wondering if he just didn't know how to use it yet :)

That is all I've come up with so far. If you're running CarPlay and then native google maps in the small screen it wont pull traffic data. it's definitely not as refined and customizable as I was hoping. Also I cant seem to find a way to disable the auto folding mirrors. With any luck OTA updates will bring additional features.

Thanks guys! Yea hopefully OTA updates solve these kinds of things. Downside to getting the first pass at this I guess.

Side note - anyone have the brand and name of the all terrains that come with the 20" wheels? The GMC website only lists 20" all terrain Black wall tires, vs the mud terrains list the specific goodyear wrangler name.

Mine has Bridgestone Dueler AT

I bet they are trying not to commit to a brand by not listing it. Would someone mind snapping a few pics of the Bridgestone Dueler A/T tire up close and dry on the 20"s? Obviously i can find pics on Bridgestone's website, but those aren't realistic :). I'm so torn between wanting the looks of the M/T or going with more practical A/T and am still within my window to change it!

I hated the look of the 20 in rims that came on it. Traded another at4 owner my 20’s for his 18’s w duratracs. I just like the way the 18 in rims look compared to the 20s.
The dueler at looked like a highway tire though. They did ride smooth.

These are on an updated 22.

Yes, The Apple car play doesn’t fill the entire screen. It’s about 70% with the other 30% being the far right which can scroll thru clock, Google maps & trailering details. In general the IOS (Apple) and Google system tend to fight each other a bit. Screen layout is pretty good… I’m coming off a 21 Ram Limited and personally the UConnect interface was much more intuitive and user friendly.

I almost wonder if that is a limitation by apple (the display size). I can see them doing something like that for a consistent experience. My wife's 22 Acura MDX also only shows about 70/30 with the 30 being the native maps application or the clock.

I saw where SRacer said he cannot find how to disable the auto folding mirrors and that sparked another thought. Are you able to click a button to fold the mirrors yourself ahead of the truck doing it after you lock the doors? Our garage is a tight squeeze so we like to fold them ahead.
