Looking to see what people’s thoughts are or if they any alternatives for correcting the speedometer after getting bigger tires.
Haven’t bought bigger tires yet but will soon. I’ll use my edge CTS insight monitor to correct speedometer . It doesn’t correct the truck’s speedo but displays correct speed on monitor as you adjust tire size thru itLooking to see what people’s thoughts are or if they any alternatives for correcting the speedometer after getting bigger tires.
I have taken trucks to dealer before and they recalibrated for about $100. Not sure what they charge in these covid timssLooking to see what people’s thoughts are or if they any alternatives for correcting the speedometer after getting bigger tires.

Can you update more than one vehicle or does the programmer get locked to the vehicle?I used the hypertech on my truck 2020 AT4 2500 on 37s. Works great but had an install issue. The unit I have came from Rough Country not hypertech, FYI they are the exact same unit, and the instructions left off one important detail which caused a check engine light. Once I cleared the light it has never come back. 5k miles ago. Works like a charm and is very accurate. Just make sure to look at the hypertech instructions and not the rough country version and you'll be good. Also don't enter the tire size your tire says, you'll want to measure with a tape on the actual tire to the ground.
