Anyone running a Westin HDX On their 1500

I think I have narrowed my search to the Westin HDX but I would like to see more pics looking straight at the Front end and the sides! I like this guard because it doesn’t seem to flare out so wide at the top and it hugs the body contour more.

I am not yet but have one ordered. I chose it for the same reasons you mention. Ranch Hand makes one with a cut out for the front camera and I am going to look at cutting out a hole in the Westin.

It’s a pretty tough install ! It can be done without removing the bumper though. A dremel tool is a must.

Good to know! Thanks! I can hang it on an electric hoist to get it in place. That should help.

You’ll be wanting to toss Their provided template in the trash before you get started! The measurements are off! Make your own template

Yes Sir! I had mine installed and they trashed the first grill insert and had to replace it. They learned a valuable lesson but did not hesitate to make it right. I called Westin about installation and the tech I spoke with said the same thing about the template-trash!

we came up with a new game plan as a team and they nailed it on the final install!

I’ve been going to post them up but I haven’t ! My wife is out burning up the roads with it right now but I’ll get some when she gets back. It will be filthy though, we live way out with the sticks and the ticks on caliche roads and haven’t had any rain in a while- but you’ll get the idea
