Anyone installed the GM Front Splash Guards on AT4? Did you rivet?

If anyone installed the front GM parts extended front splash guards on your AT4 did you do the small head and large head rivets or just rely on the two bolts? Looking at the drawing I can see why they use the rivets but at the same time these things shouldn't see much load so I would imagine the two factory bolt holes might be sufficient?

Wow, those look sweet! I definitely wouldn't install them without the Rivets, there is no reason not to. Why don't you want to?

Wanted to install them for a short time to see how well they work before I drill into truck and rivet them in. Also I'll need to either pick up a rivet gun or "rent" one from autozone. Was hoping the other bolts would do the job for now though...

Attachment options may be driven by the type of detritus you may encounter on whatever trails you intend to operate on. That big rock you couldn’t miss no matter what you do might be the one to take the thing off. Not uncommon where i am at

I installed these on my 21'. You do not have to drill into the truck to install them. You do use the supplied rivits to securethe very inside of the guard to the liner. These guards are just as solid as the original when installed......................RR

I have them on my 21. I also have 275/65R20 34” tires and they don’t rub or get in the way. I like them and they do seem to help. I apologize for the filthy pics. It’s super sloppy out right now.
