Annoying things

A thread no one likes to see but curious what others find annoying and if any solutions:

1. will start with Folding Mirrors. Cool that you can fold them but come on GMC…they should automatically open back up when you open the door!!

2. crappy Rancho shocks on a off road truck

I agree on the Shocks I live in the country with crappy roads and the rear end kicks out a lot. But I’ve got a fix for that coming soon.

I come from a long list of 2500 HD trucks and Jeep Wranglers.......so I think my AT4 rides nice. But I could see if you were used to a yukon or a tahoe then any truck with "off road" suspension would seem stiff.

Yea I’ve had had 3 previous gmc 1500 z71 packages with same Rancho rear shocks there nothing more than just a white body shock with a Rancho sticker on them , I had a 2012 1/2 ton Ram with the rear coil suspension it rode nice but was awful towing a camper until I put the airbags on it. I had 2001 Jeep TJ for a toy I put a Rough Country suspension on it the shocks were some of the worst riding I’ve ever used then we got a 2018 Jeep JL and I put on a complete JKS suspension with Fox 2.0 shocks it was really impressive how it handled. It just comes down to what you want.

My only issue is the shocks. I’ve owned new Fords (F150 & F250’s) and new Rams (3500 DRW). Both diesel and gas. This AT4 performs as well as are better than those. Of course there are pros and cons with 1500-2500-3500’s diesel and gas. I absolutely love the 6.2 gas I know have and am enjoying the truck immensely. I will be changing shocks and tires soon.

New Rear Shocks

Look what just arrived Icon 2.0 remote reservoir shocks, between work and my little girls softball games it might be this weekend before I can get them thrown on. I’m anxious to take them on run and see how they perform.

I’ve got one to add to the list, I can’t blame anyone for it because I chose the carbon pro bed but I gotta get a rubber bed mat because things like to slide around if I don’t tie it down kinda reminds me of the plastic drop in bed liners. Other than that no complaints on the bed but it’s not a big deal.

Ok, only pet peev so far....... sometimes it revs up and hesitates before going back down....I suspect the transmission gets confused with 10 gears to work through so it just pauses.....my buddy with a yukon has the same complaint.
