I just ordered a 24 AT4 1500 and didn’t order it with any steps. My plan is to put the Amp power steps on it but their website doesn’t list any for the 24 model year. Do you think the ones for a 23 model year would work? They are pretty expensive just to try it.

I called them and they said they would be available in October but I have a hard time believing there is any difference between the years. I have to have some kind of step as I’m short and have a hard time getting in without them and the truck should be here before they say the steps are available.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The old "cart before the horse" eh?

I'm not sure anybody here would have any updated information on this issue more than AMP does. Did you ask AMP your question regarding the model year issue?

I agree you should ask AMP the questions you’re asking here. However the people at AMP answering said questions probably don’t know anything more than you expect what the computer tells them. Im guessing you don’t want to wait or waiting isn’t the best option. So Im going to give you what I might do. I would look at the differences in the 2 trucks if any. Also you could see if other nerf bars mount the same for those years. If so it could suggest they mount the same. Like you said an expensive gamble that could be costly. Only thing to consider is if your truck is a diesel the def tank can cause mounting issues. If GM by no surprise decided to change some minor location swap this could lead to a problem. But odds are they are the same if all other accessories fit by other companies. Last maybe the wait by AMP is a completely new redesign on their part. This could leave you out for a possible new improved product. Things to consider if you have not already.

Has GMC accepted your order for the 2024? My dealer ordered 2 mos ago but GM has yet to "accept" the order.

Yes, I just talked to him this morning and it has been accepted.

I wonder if your dealer would like to order one for me? Mine seems to be really slow!
