I have owned over 15 GMC products and recently had my 2020 2500 at4 stolen. Had another truck stolen in the mid 90s that had the ravelco system in it, pre installed by the dealership. Clearly it didn't work. OnStar was essential worthless in the latest situation. Looking for opinions on the IGLA system and any other theft deterrent systems people might be using in their GMCs. It's alarming the number of GMC products that are being stolen in the area I live and how quickly they are taking them. The theft took place in the middle of the day at a restaurant. Taking a beating on this loss by the time you add up the cost of the replacement vehicle and what the insurance company refused to cover. I also have a 2016 2500 Denali and now a new 2024 2500 AT4 and simply cant afford to sit around and watch either of those disappear. GMC wouldn't honor any discount pricing on the 2500s. This s&*t is out of control!

@hddean - I have a Ravelco in my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392 precisely because they advertised that since 1976 they have never had a Ravelco system defeated resulting in a stolen car. Interesting that they continue to make that claim.

definitely false advertisement. I read in a couple of different forums recently of a couple vehicles being stolen with the ravelco in them. One of which I thought was also a jeep. Understand from the OP, that while the thieves weren't successful the first time they attempted to take the vehicle, they came back a couple weeks later and drove off with it (Documented on video).
