GM To Replace 3.0L Duramax Engines In Handful Of Silverado, Sierra, Yukon Models​

Has anyone spoken to any service managers or dealerships about this? I have a 3.0L AT4 coming in I could be in line for purchasing, but not sure I want to buy it if the dealer needs to replace the entire engine assembly.

I read something about this. I believe it's only 4 or 5 trucks they are doing this too. Don't sound like it's a huge portion of what's coming in.

My Yukon XL made it 7900 miles before the 3.0 Duramax ate itself!

Additionally GMC has some QA issues with their engines. My daughter has a 2024 Suburban that the 6.2 engine had to be replaced.
