When I started looking at AT4s, I seem to remember the 3500s having less options available or being more "utility" vs 2500s. I was interested in higher towing, but like creature comforts, so I was originally building a 2500 with max trailering package. Now it's looking like they have similar trim levels. So my question is, what's the difference between a 3500 and a 2500 w/ Max Trailering Package?

I have a ‘20 AT4 3500. No sunroof for me which is totally fine as they end up leaking. If I remember correctly, there is a higher insurance rate due to it being a one ton but whatever. I’d buy another 1 ton long bed if I had to!

Out of curiosity when I was searching for my 2500 AT4 I searched nationwide on GMC.com for one without a sunroof. I found none so I ordered.

I bought mine used like I do all of my trucks and just lucked out I guess! If you want a sunroof, buy an old TJ and just take the top off….
