I replaced the factory Bose speakers with aftermaket from Crutchfield and now I can't hear phone calls, but they hear me.
I've tried erasing my phone and reconnecting. Doesn't work in Android auto or BT. Phone Media plays fine.
The door chime and turn signal tone are a little quiet.

Dash (had to cut and splice)
Kenwood KFC-X2C

Doors (plug and play)
Rockford Fosgate R165X3
Rockford Fosgate R169X2

That’s because the system uses the factory amp and two dash mounted speakers for audio. There is no way around deleting the factory amplifier because it plays the vehicle chimes and buzzers through the same speakers.

Thanks for the info. What would be a good replacement? I not too familiar with amplifiers.

I am experiencing the same issue however I dont think it started immediately after replacement.

Replaced front dash speakers with Audiofrog GS25. They're 3.6 ohms. I also added the crutchfield bass blockers on those but replaced only speakers no additional or replacement amp. I havent noticed any reduced volume on door or seatbelt chime.

I replaced all my speakers with Kikker. I used the bass blockers from crutchfield. I did this x 2 on my sons 14 and my AT4. No issues at all with calls.
One last thing. Call Crutchfield. If you bought from them their technical support is pretty good at solving issues and its free.

Crutchfield has no reports of this issue. I think it is an infotainment issue. The strange thing is that this is the only issue I have with my truck - me not being able to hear others on the phone.

You double check that when you have a call active that the "phone volume" is actually turned up? Swapping out to GS25s should not effect output that drastically. I assume you snipped off the oem connector to direct wire the GS25s?

I guess what I was saying is that Crutchfield will usually troubleshoot not just say no issues reported. So Im confused. That said , IMO something is connected wrong.

I am replacing dash speakers in my AT4X w Heads Up display - any videos on removing the panel that covers the speakers and HUD? I popped it in a couple spots and it stuck - didn’t want to force in case there is a screw

Have to remove the a-pillar covers may be the grab handles depending on options)…..they you can pull up along the dash. It’s all clips but each end tucks under the a-pillar covers. I recommend some sound deadening on the plastic trim before reinstall.
