22’ Refresh Illuminated Emblem

Good evening,

I finally installed the illuminated emblem on my 22’ Refresh. This isn’t really a big deal but I am just curious as I’ve seen it on other peoples trucks.
When I press my unlock button on my remote the emblem does not illuminate. It only illuminates when the truck is turned on and running
I’ve seen a few others post videos with theirs and when they use their remote to unlock the vehicle, theirs will illuminate.
Any info behind this?

don't mean to be dumb but is it dark out when you do this? It only comes on when you unlock if it's dark out.
